Kim Brennan achieves double at Head of the Charles 2016.

Kim and partner Emma Twigg of NZ won the Womens Championship Double Sculls by 12 secs. Kim and Emma along with three other Rio Olympic single scull A finalists then followed up on the Sunday in the Champion Womens Eights rowing and winning under the Cambridge BC colours from the New York Athletic Club by 15 seconds.

MUBC Ladies Grand Master eight comprising Jennifer Bingham,Geraldine Goss, Jenn Kilby, Anne Parbury, Angela Conry, Josie Bant, Pamela Whiting, Jeeny Yann and coxed by Carly Blackmore took out the Womens eight event at the New Hampshire Championships and finished a creditable second to Etats Unis at Head of the Charles. A web search on the Etats Unis crew showed that every member rowed at World level including Olympic Games, the ultimate Rolodex crew [different clubs, different states, all champions, assembled by telephone].

Also rowing at Boston was Patsy Montgomery with mixed double partner Paul Brigdeford.
