Third full time MUBC coach appointed
published: 30-Mar-2012I am delighted to announce that Mike Steele has joined the MUBC team today as a full time coach with direct responsibility for our Youth program. You may know Mike following his outstanding successes at MGGS with the girls first eight over the past few years. He also came with MUBC on our January training camps and on a recent successful trip to Korea last winter, and you may have seen him at the sheds recently whilst coaching Eric Bana...
Mike starts in mid May this year, following a trip to Europe where he is working with some high profile clubs and learning some new ideas to bring back to Aus. As well has having a holiday with his girlfriend – hopefully rowing won’t get in the way too much! Mike’s first competitive coaching role for MUBC will be the Trans Tasman series in early July.Mike’s responsibilities include talent identification (recruitment!) and development (coaching!). Please download the leaflet School Leavers 2012 - 2013 for information about joining MUBC as a school leaver.
You can contact Mike via email until he returns on mikesteele@mubc.asn.au and thereafter at MUBC and on his mobile 0403725042.
