he MUBC Junior Academy is built on the philosophy and training methodology of Melbourne University Boat Club performance rowing. We aim to provide established Year 11 athletes, boys and girls with opportunities to learn and develop their techniques and rowing understanding from our experienced National and State Title winning coaching team in an inspiring and fulfilling learning environment.

The Academy program presents a pathway of opportunity for athletes to train alongside MUBC squads that comprise the highest number of Underage representatives of any club from the past three season.  Participating athletes will also be eligible to compete with MUBC in Under 19 Events at the 2025 Australian Rowing Championships. Opportunities are being developed for ambitious and aspiring athletes to compete in various international regattas around the world.

The program will commence Monday 6 May and will conclude at the end of Term Three, around 20 September and comprise three before school morning sessions per week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday with an option of Saturday morning. Where clashes occur with School commitments, School comes first.
