MUBC Junior Academy is built on the philosophy and training methodology of Melbourne University Boat Club performance rowing. We aim to provide established Year 11 athletes with opportunities to learn and develop their techniques and rowing understanding from our experienced National and State Title winning coaching team in an inspiring and fulfilling learning environment.

The Academy program presents a pathway of opportunity for athletes to train alongside MUBC squads that comprise the highest number of Underage representatives of any club from the past three season.  Participating athletes will also be eligible to compete with MUBC in Under 19 Events at the 2025 Australian Rowing Championships. Opportunities are being developed for ambitious and aspiring athletes to compete in various international regattas around the world.

The program will commence Monday 11th May till the 3rd of July and comprise three before school morning sessions per week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday with an option of Saturday morning. Where clashes occur with School commitments, School comes first.  

The cost per athlete is $600 and includes an official MUBC race zootie, tee-shirt and exclusive MUBC training membership through to March 2026.
