MUBC congratulates Australia's rowers

At the completion of the Olympic Regatta, MUBC rowers will return to Australia with a collection of medals. Kim Crow, who amazed Australia with her talent and ambition won a silver in the W2X and  a bronze in the W1X. Will Lockwood won a silver in the men's coxless four, coached by former MUBC head coach Chris O'Brien, and Karsten Forsterling won bronze in the men's quadruple scull. The final positions never tell the whole storey of the competition, and MUBC is proud to acknowledge the excellent achievements of those athletes who did not make the medal podium but raced as hard as they were able to, for Australia. We cannot ask more of them. The are Lizzie Patrick and Phoebe Stanley in the women's eight, Josh Booth and Cameron McKenzie McHarg in the men's eight, and James Marburg in the men's pair.
